This product was designed by Oishi Tengudo, a long-established Kyoto company, in collaboration with tatami craftsmen.
Using the tatami mats, you can play authentic games of Go or Shogi.
They can also be used for Japanese cultural ceremonies such as the tea ceremony and the incense ceremony, as well as for kimono dressing.

Authentic specifications with a focus on quality!

These tatami mats were made by Kyoto tatami craftsmen who also make the tatami mats used in Kyoto’s temples and shrines.
They are made using the same techniques as regular tatami mats.
They are made using 100% Japanese igusa grass, giving them a professional finish and durability.
Another great feature is that when unfolded, they become the size of one tatami mat (Edo-ma size).
